Unsung Black History Month Heroes: “The Pine-Sol Lady”


If you’re like me then you think the concept of Black History Month is completely counter productive and irrelevant in present day 2012 however like trained people we are we continue to take the bait and watch countless documentaries about slavery as if that’s where our History started. Fuck That!

So we the good folks here at We Still Love H.E.R. decided to counter attack and put our own spin on the concept of Black History Month, saluting our unsung brothers and sisters. First up we have Diane Amos, known to many of us affectionately as “The Pine-Sol Lady”

 

 

For almost Two decades Amos has been the spokesperson for the popular home cleaning product known for her quick wit, sas and catch phrase “That’s The Power Of Pine-Sol Baby” Amos first auditioned for the role in 1993 and has been the companies go to actress since then. Quite the accomplished thespian, Amos has also appeared in several Major Motion pictures including Angels In The Outfield and Patch Adams.

 

So here’s to you “Pine-Sol Lady” Diane Amos, A We Still Love H.E.R. Unsung Black History Month Hero!
